Starting our homeschool preschool has been both exciting and completely overwhelming at the same time. Trying to weed threw homeschool curriculum that will work and wont work for Harper can be really hard to decide on. But one thing that has been really fun is finding supplies for art, math, and storage solutions to make our homeschool preschool run smoothly and stay organized! You also may know that we are trying to do some serious downsizing in our home, so I have tried to keep the supplies to a minimum and below are all things we have and use almost on a daily basis. They can also be used in a huge variety of ways to fit your own homeschool preschool needs.
As I mentioned above we use all of these items shown and I would recommend them to anyone starting to do more work with their preschooler at home rather its a full time homeschool preschool, or extra learning activities to fill your day. And gosh we all need extra activities to make our days go by faster and keep our tiny humans entertained, am I right?

Beads & Pipe Cleaners – We use these both together most of the time for math and patterns. We will pick out some beads in several colors and then Harper will put them in a pattern. Next, she will put them onto her pipe cleaner and make herself a little bracelet or toy out of it. Its a perfect activity that involves patters and fine motor skills! We also use the pipe cleaners to count and order the beads. The possibilities are endless!
Mathlink Cubes – We use legos for this, but these Mathlink Cubes are my wish list. They can be used for counting, sorting, patterns, building, etc.
Alphabet Memory game – This game is so fun and has really helped Harper learn her alphabet and sounds. We also have this game in the number match and has worked wonders! We play it a lot and is something she can work on alone while I do something else. Hallelujah.
My first Calendar -I don’t have a calendar yet for our homeschool room but this is one that I really want to get! It looks like it would be really helpful and be a nice way to start our day off.
Plastic Envelope Folders– I use these to organize our art and games for that day. On Sunday I pull together any folder games I want to do and our art project supplies for the day and put them in the appropriate folder. I have them labeled Monday – Friday so that our day goes smoothly. Its a really easy way for me to stay organized so I’m not searching Pinterest for some kind of activity to work on.
Binder & Alphabet Dividers– I use this big binder to organize our Letter of the Week curriculum and it works great. Not a lot to explain but I really like the way the dividers are colored and makes it easy to find the letter we are working on that week.
Construction Paper & Scissors– Also not a lot to explain but we use these every day for lots of different projects and fine motor skills. Harper loves art and these are both affordable options compared to what I’ve seen at Target.
ABC Mouse – This is an app that has so many awesome games and learning activities for preschoolers. We absolutely love it and use it a lot. Harper loves the sound recognition games and its really helping her a lot!
I hope this list of homeschool preschool resources is helpful! I really think that making our decision to homeschool has been a great decision so far. Harper is having fun, and these resources have been a huge help to me! One thing I am looking for is some great curriculum. I really like the Letter of the Week curriculum but its so repetitive and I think Harper might need something more challenging. What is your favorite curriculum and what are your favorite supplies for your preschooler at home?
